Hawzah News Agency (Beirut, Lebanon) – Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Ebrahim Raeesi, Custodian of Imam al-Ridha (as) holy shrine met with Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut on Saturday.

Several prominent figures including Iranian ambassador to Lebanon Muhammad Fathali as well as some Hezbollah officials were present at the meeting.

The two sides reviewed developments in Lebanon and the region and emphasized the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries, Hawzah reported.

Earlier in his trip to Lebanon, Iranian cleric Hujjat al-Islam Raeesi had met with Speaker of the parliament of Lebanon Nabih Berri as well as Sheikh Qablan, vice-president of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council of Lebanon.
